As usual, I attended the annual Spring Photography Weekend at Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park, in Dawson Springs, Ky. These are the images I submitted in the Masters Division for the contest. Lots of great pictures taken by the 54 participants!
The categories were: Culture, Wildflowers/Fungi, Wildlife and Scenic Beauty. There were also three bonus categories which were Crofton, Ky, Funny and “Photoshopped.”

- Wildlife – This was my entry and while it didn’t place it’s m favorite photo that I shot from the weekend. It looks like the groundhog is eating something, but she’s actually moving her young to a new location.

- Senic Beauty – This is the image I submitted for this category. I liked the water rushing over the beaver dam, the stream weaving around and the sky in this photo

- Culture – This was my submission and it received Third Place.

- Wildflowers/Fungi – This was my entry.

- Crofton, Ky – I liked the design of this old church. This was my entry in this category. Folks couldn’t believe I went to Crofton and didn’t come back with a train photo!

- Funny – This was my entry. The juding was done based on the amount of laughs the picture generated. It didn’t get enough. Should have put someone on it or running toward it holding the back of their pants! ;0)
