April 6, 2015 – CSX Q514, being led by UP 7511, approaches the Crofton Cut as it heads north on the Henderson Subdivision, just north of Crofton, Ky.

April 10, 2015 – A CSX Henderson Subdivision Maintenance of Way crew works on the switch at the south end of Henderson, under the recently powered up new cantilever signal bridge, at Henderson, Ky as the last light of day fades from the sky. CSX has been working for sometime now replacing and upgrading signals along the subdivision and this is among the first to be activated.

April 9, 2015 – Did a bit of sight surveying today along part of the RJ Corman line that runs through Russellville, Ky where I captured this scene of the Adairville Feed Mill there and a string of cars along the RJ Corman Railroad line running next to it.

April 9, 2015 – Storm clouds loom over a CSX ballast train, with HLCX lease units, 6503 and 8148, as it sits at the south end of the new Casky Inspection Yard being built at Hopkinsville, Ky on the Henderson Subdivision.

April 4, 2015 – CSX Q645 heads south on the Henderson Subdivision with engine 5112 in the lead as it approaches Guthrie, Ky.

April 4, 2015 – CSX Q647 moves onto track two at the north end of Casky with engine 291 in the lead, as it heads south on the Henderson Subdivision at Hopkinsville, Ky.

April 6, 2015 – CSX L688, CSX “Diversity in Motion” engine 699 and 7635 trailing, heads out of the siding at the north end of Kelly, Ky onto the main as it heads north on the Henderson Subdivision.

April 4, 2015 – A CSX empty autorack train rounds the curve at the north end of the siding at Kelly, Ky as Union Pacific engine 3794 leads the train north on the Henderson Subdivision.

April 4, 2015 – CSX Q025-04 passes K457 at the south end of Romney Siding as it heads south on the Henderson Subdivision at Nortonville, Ky.

April 4, 2015 – CSX Q592 heads north on the Henderson Subdivision as it passes loaded coal train T087 at the south end of the siding at Trenton, Ky.

April 4, 2015 – CSX ethanol train K457 heads south towards Sadler Rd south of Guthrie, Ky on the Henderson Subdivision with engine 5300 in the lead.

April 4, 2015 – CSX Loaded coal train T087 heads through the cut approaching Adams, Tennessee after crossing the Red River Trestle as it moves it’s load south on the Henderson Subdivision.

March 27, 2015 – CSX Q028, with engine 625 in the lead, rounds a curve as it heads south into downtown Sebree, Ky on the Henderson Subdivision.

March 27, 2015 – CSX intermodals, Q025 and Q028 meet at the north end of the Slaughters, Ky siding as a crewman from the northbound train prepares to do a roll-by inspection as 28 heads south on the Henderson Subdivision.

March 27, 2015 – CSX N255, a loaded coal train, passes the south end of the Breton siding as engine 795 leads the train south on the Henderson Subdivision at Breton, Ky.

March 24, 2015 – Paducah and Louisville’s 4504 arrives and picks up a load of coal from Warrior Coal in Manitou, Ky.

April 1, 2015 – Loram DC-2 Ditch Cleaner works along CSX’s MH&E (used to be L&N’s Madisonville, Hartford and Eastern Subdivision) approaching the crossing at Liberty Church Road in Madisonville, Ky.

March 31, 2015 – CSX Q124 heads north through the south end of Casky at Hopkinsville, Ky on the Henderson Subdivision. In the foreground you can see that they’ve started laying tracks in the new Casky Inspection Yard.

March 31, 2015 – CSX Q025 heads through the south end of Latham Siding at Hopkinsville, Ky with BNSF 7076 in the lead, as it moves it’s intermodal train south on the Henderson Subdivision.

March 28, 2015 – UP 9679 leads a mixed freight past UP’s Lenox Tower at Mitchell, Illinois onto the Alton & Southern Railway, which is owned by UP, as it heads toward St. Louis.
