October 20, 2018 – Day 355 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B/W Photo Challenge – Window Artists – Ever since I can remember, at least since I was a child over 60 years ago, the kids in our community have taken part in the annual Halloween Window Painting Contest in downtown Madisonville, Ky. Here we seen some of our older artists hard at work along Sugg Street and many of them doing a fine job indeed! Looking for things to photograph? October 19, 2018 – Day 354 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B/W Photo Challenge – Shades of Color – Today I had lunch with a friend at Pizza Hut and while we were checking out I spotted their tub of crayons and grabbed this photo of the different colors in shades of black and white.

October 7, 2018 – Day 342 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B/W Photo Challenge – Hands – My nephew Jordan interlaced his hand with mine today at church as we waited for the other kids to get out of their Worship and Wonder Class

October 6, 2018 – Day 341 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B/W Photo Challenge – Reserved Parking – Today I led the Central City, Ky location for the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk and I think this “Reserved Parking” photo might be my entry into the “Leader” contest for the event! We all had a great time, as we do every year!

October 5, 2018 – Day 340 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B/W Photo Challenge – Dreams – After her karate class this afternoon my niece sat next to this poster that shows all the belt ranks and talked about each one, perhaps in her mind a few dreams of what’s yet to be?

October 4, 2018 – Day 339 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B/W Photo Challenge – Pied Piper – As I was waiting in line at school to pickup my nephew students were following a fire fighter from the Madisonville Fire Department as he led them across the parking lot for a tour of a fire truck and I liked the look of the photo. I included the reflections in my side view mirror as I think they add to the flow of the picture as it leads my eye into the picture, or vice versa!

October 3, 2018 – Day 338 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B/W Photo Challenge – Roses – Grabbed this beautiful shot of roses this afternoon at my local Kroger’s forest shop! You just never know where you’ll find a nice photo!!

September 16, 2018 – Day 321 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B/W Photo Challenge – Almost Church Time – Jayden, Sis, Elaina, Jeanne and Damion all occupy their time as they wait for church to begin! Nothing does my heart better than seeing everyone here and Journey and Jordan are downstairs in the nursery. I’m so glad that our kids enjoy coming to church!

September 15, 2018 – Day 320 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B/W Photo Challenge – Harvest Time – A farmer works on harvesting his field, just north of Sebree, Ky as light begins to fade from the day.

September 14, 2018 – Day 319 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B/W Photo Challenge – Shapes and designs – I love how the ballast of the railroad cuts through this scene of Superior Metal Works, Inc. at Mortons Gap, Ky along with the shapes and tones in their building adding more interest to the picture.

September 13, 2018 – Day 318 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B/W Photo Challenge – Socks – My cat Socks prepares to jump down from the exam table at the vets this morning as we wait to see the vet for a checkup. He’s been fighting some type of infection and his white cell count was 49,000 two weeks ago, which is very high! With the help of antibiotics, it was back down to normal today and he seems to be feeling much better.

September 12, 2018 – Day 317 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B/W Photo Challenge – Shapes and Patterns – Shapes, patterns and designs in building can make for some really nice and interesting photographs, such as this one in downtown Evansville, Indiana. Keep your eyes open to the world around you!!

September 11, 2018 – Day 316 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B/W Photo Challenge – New Book – The first thing my niece Elaina said as she got in my car after school was, “Uncle Jimmy, I’ve got a new book!!” I love that she and all my other nieces and nephews get excited over getting a new book!

September 10, 2018 – Day 315 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B/W Photo Challenge – Looking Up – When out looking or searching for pictures don’t forget to look up! You never know what you’ll find that is worthy of a picture such as this little tree growing out of the side of a building in downtown Madisonville, Ky.

September 9, 2018 – Day 314 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B/W Photo Challenge – Tired Tires – I’m always looking for things that I feel will make a good black and white photo and these used oversize tires fit the bill perfectly this afternoon!

September 8, 2018 – Day 313 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B/W Photo Challenge – Buddy! – We’re dog sitting my niece Jeanne and nephew David’s dog buddy for a few days and try as I may to sneak up on him to get a picture, he always knows I’m doing it! LOL When photographing your pets and even children, you’ll get stronger pictures if you get down on their level!

September 7, 2018 – Day 312 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B/W Photo Challenge – Joys of Childhood – We can all remember the joys of childhood such as running full blast while being chased by a friend or in this case Damion’s cousin Jayden during the free play time before the karate class this afternoon. Today I did a little panning as you can see! Many of the techniques you use with your larger digital camera can be applied when using your iPhone!

September 6, 2018 – Day 311 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B/W Photo Challenge – Two Ballerinas – My nieces Journey and Elaina make their way up the ramp outside their dance school, heading home after their class this afternoon.
