January 21, 2017 – So, why did the chickens cross the railroad in front of CSX Q617 as it sets waiting for permission to head north into CSX’s Howell Yard at Evansville, Indiana? All great minds are looking for the answer to this age old question! LOL I love finding things that are different!

January 21, 2017 – CSX empty ethanol train K617 passes a slightly misaligned track as it pulls through Hybrid heading into Howell Yard at Evansville, In. The track is part of a new lead that is being put in at Howell.

January 21, 2017 – Spent some time trackside today on the Henderson Subdivision with some fellow railfans, Logan, William and Cody. I’m always happy to see young folks that have an interest in both photography and trains! We had a great time and met some folks that I’ve been friends with on Facebook for awhile. Even got to meet some very patient and kind grandparents and a mom! Had a great day and caught several nice trains! Look for them over the next week!
