Jim has worked as the photographer and IT Manager for The Messenger Newspaper in Madisonville, Kentucky since 1995, a daily newspaper that serves the Western Kentucky market.

Prior to his current employment he served as an Photojournalist in the United States Air Force for 24 years, where he traveled the world photographing military operations as a member of Combat Camera.
