CSX hot intermodal Q026-11 (Jacksonville, FL to Chicago, IL) passes the old Louisville & Nashville Railway Depot, as it rolls through downtown Madisonville, Kentucky on its way north on the Henderson Subdivision on October 12, 2020.
Madisonville’s remodeled train station (opened in September 1929) at 38 West Arch Street station is currently being used as a Kentucky Innovation Station, which is a co-working and business-incubation space.
Small-business owner-operators, traveling professionals and students can work independently of one another, but in a modernized shared office space, which also houses the offices of Madisonville-Hopkins County Economic Development Corporation.
