January 30, 2019 – The conductor keeps a watchful eye as CSXT 6956 heads up the yard power at Guthrie, Ky as it works in the Koppers Plant that runs alongside the Henderson Subdivision. According to Koppers website, “the Koppers Guthrie plant was constructed by the L&N Railroad in 1912 at the intersection of its main line north and south/east and west. The plant was purchased by Koppers in 1958.
