He says it’s the first President he’s ever met! Always oblige the little ones in your life when they ask you to take their picture!
April 19, 2018 – Norfolk Southern Railway’s “Honoring First Responders” engine 9-1-1, heads up CSX Q501-18 as it sits on track two as CSX Q518 highballs past him on track 1 at Sebree, Kentucky on the Henderson Subdivision.
One of several commemorative locomotives, it’s a SD60E honoring emergency first responders. April 10, 2018 – Day 162 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B&W Photo Challenge – Ta Da!! – My niece Elaina definitely has her own style! Today during lunch with several members of our local photography club she was being herself as we were waiting for the check to come when she kept jumping out from behind my chair and doing this Ta Da! I had been trying all morning to get her to stand and let me get a good shot of her and her outfit and it just wasn’t happening! Sometimes it happens like that. You’ve just got to be patient and let the picture happen. This was way better than if she had just stood for me to take the picture when I asked earlier! I’d make the “Punky Brewster” reference here, but most younger photographers probably wouldn’t know who Im talking about! LOL

March 23, 2018 – A Chicago Transit Authority Rapid transit “L” train passes through the tower 18 interlocking in downtown Chicago, Illinois. For decades, the Tower 18 junction at Lake & Wells has been billed as one of the busiest railroad junctions in the world.
According to Wikipedia, The Chicago “L” (short for “elevated”) is the rapid transit system serving the city of Chicago and some of its surrounding suburbs in the U.S. state of Illinois. It is operated by the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA). It is the fourth-largest rapid transit system in the United States in terms of total route length, at 224.1 miles long, and the second-busiest rail mass transit system in the United States, after the New York City Subway.
Chicago’s “L” provides 24-hour service on some portions of its network, being one of only six rapid transit systems in the United States to do so. The oldest sections of the Chicago “L” started operations in 1892, making it the second-oldest rapid transit system in the Americas, after New York City’s elevated lines.
The “L” has been credited with fostering the growth of Chicago’s dense city core that is one of the city’s distinguishing features. The “L” consists of eight rapid transit lines laid out in a spoke-hub distribution paradigm focusing transit towards the Loop. April 9, 2018 – Day 161 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B&W Photo Challenge – Airborne! – My nephew Damion does a jump during his Little Warriors Karate Class as some of his classmates take their own stances as if it’ll give him a little extra help! Indoors and low light can make shooting action difficult when using your iPhone. Best thing I’ve found is to use the burst mode and try to catch the peak action. Either way, any picture is better than none! Shoot!!!
