June 28, 2017 – CSX hot intermodal Q029 (Chicago, IL –
Atlanta, GA), with CSXT 3384 leading, heads south at the south end of Romney siding in Nortonville, Ky. At the right is the newly created roadbed that will the start of a new double track main, which will join Romney and Nortonville sidings together on the Henderson Subdivision.
June 15, 2017 – CSX hot intermodal Q028-15 makes its way north out of the north end of Romney at Nortonville, Ky as it heads north on the Henderson Subdivision. In the foreground you can see construction work for the new roadbed that will connect the sidings at Romney and Nortonville to create a two track main between the two points.
May 29, 2017 – CSX W086-24 Hertzog Rock Train heads north at Robards, Ky as it rolls past a newly installed signal at the current south end of the siding at Old Knoblick Road. CSX is linking the sidings from Sebree, Ky to the north end of Robards, Ky on the Henderson Subdivision, which will then become a two track main. The new roadbed is in place and waiting for track crews to lay the new track.
