February 17, 2015- CSX Intermodal Q105 heads south on the Henderson Subdivision at Mortons Gap, Ky.

February 28, 2015 – CSX Q597, with BNSF 7953 on point, leads it’s train south just past the south end of the Nortonville siding, at Nortonville, Ky on the Henderson Subdivision.

February 28, 2015 – CSX Q597-26, with engine 273 on point, rolls along next to Curtis Mine Road at Madisonville, Ky on the Earlington Cutoff with a string of six locomotives heading south on the Henderson Subdivision. The last four were dead-in-tow SD 70 MAC’s that had work done on them at Progress Rail in Mayfield, Ky.

February 26, 2015 – CSX Q596, with engine 5400 on point, heads north out of Mortons Gap, Ky on the Henderson Subdivision.

February 27, 2015 – CSX Q515-26 with UP 8334 on point heads south at Rankin, Ky on the Henderson Subdivision.

February 26, 2015 – CSX Q102 rounds the curve just past the north end of the siding at Nortonville, Ky with engine 5447 on point as it heads north on the Henderson Subdivision.

February 26, 2015 – BNSF engine 692 with NS 6803 trailing, head up CSX Q649 through Mortons Junction as they move south at Mortons Gap, Ky on the Henderson Subdivision.

February 26, 2015 – Paducah and Louisville MOW crews work on final repairs to the switch area of the Warrior Wye where several cars derailed yesterday at Madisonville, Ky on an empty coal train. Repairs have been finished and trains are running once again.

February 25, 2015 – CSX Q597 heads through the south end of Slaughters, Ky siding as it heads south on the Henderson Subdivision with engine 7347 on point.

February 25, 2015 – Several cars derailed at the Warrior Wye north switch at Madisonville, Ky as Paducah and Louisville 4511 was pulling an empty coal train to Warrior Coal in Manitou, Ky. The cars are blocking the main and crews are working on clearing the track so normal service can resume.

February 12, 2015 – CSX Q649 (SB) and T103-9 (Empty Coal) meet at the north end of the Crofton siding on the Henderson Subdivision at Crofton, Ky

February 24, 2015 – A Paducah and Louisville rail train, with engines 3808 and UK 1998 as power, worked on laying rail between Dawson Springs and Princeton, Ky this afternoon. Here we see the train at work at Claxton, Ky, where they had to cut the rail for the crossing there, as they continued south.

February 7, 2015 – CSX’s Q514 stops at the Hopkinsville Industrial park at north Casky to pickup a load of auto frames from the Metalsa plant in Hopkinsville, Ky on the Henderson Subdivision. The engine lash-up was UP 4563, CSX 651 and KCS 4029.

February 20, 2015 – CSX Q596, with engine 5381 in the lead, passes under the Princeton Road overpass as it heads north at Madisonville, Ky on the Henderson Subdivision.

February 17, 2015 – CSX Q597 pulls out of the Earlington Cutoff onto the main at Mortons Junction as it heads south on the Henderson Subdivision at Mortons Gap, Ky with CITX lease unit 3083 as it’s second unit.

February 19, 2015 – CSX K092, an empty crude oil tank train at milepost 271 in Earlington, Ky, with BNSF 5212 leading the train northbound on the Henderson Subdivision at dusk with CSX 8554 and CP 8566 as the trailing units in the consist.

February 19, 2015 – CSX Q514 with UP 5745 leading the way, heads north through Crofton, Ky on the Henderson Subdivision.

February 19, 2015 – CSX Q124 makes it’s way north at dusk on the Henderson Subdivision as it approaches the south end of the siding at Romney in Nortonville, Ky with engine 3015 on point.

February 17, 2015 – CSX Q029, being led by Norfolk Southern 8871, waits for a signal at Mortons Junction on the cutoff heading south on the Henderson Subdivision at Mortons Gap, Ky. Intermodals as a rule don’t take the cutoff, but 29 was having problems with it’s second engine and had to switch it out at Atkinson Yard in Madisonville, Ky.

February 19, 2015 – CSX Q515-17 waits for a northbound at the south end of Romney siding with an interesting lash-up including, CEFX 3155, CSX Switcher 1108 and CITX 3070, all waiting to go south at dusk on the Henderson Subdivision from Nortonville, Ky.

February 19, 2015 – BNSF 5212 leads CSX K092, a empty crude oil train, through Earlington, Ky at dusk as it makes it’s way north on the Henderson Subdivision. The trailing unit is CP 8560.
