February 16, 2015 – Evansville Western Railway Z467, with 4520 in the lead, heads south on CSX’s Earlington Cutoff at Madisonville, Ky, with it’s coal train on the Henderson Subdivision. In most places along the subdivision 10-12 inches of snow fell causing a lot of delays for trains.
February 16, 2015 – The conductor from southbound CSX Q597-15 cleans snow and ice from the switch at Mortons Junction in Mortons Gap, Ky, as his train waits in the background. The Henderson Subdivision saw on average about 10-12 inches of snow fall in the last 12 hours and has caused things to slow down a bit on the subdivision.
February 16, 2015 – Evansville Western’s 4520 kicks up some snow as it passes through the McCoy Avenue crossing at Madisonville, Ky as it heads south with it’s coal train toward East Diamond on CSX’s Earlington Cutoff on the Henderson Subdivision.

February 12, 2015 – A CSX empty grain train, with engine 398 on point, rounds the curve heading to the south end of Romney as it heads north on the Henderson Subdivision at Mannington, Ky in a light snowfall.
February 12, 2015 – CSX loaded grain train G154, with engine 31 on point, passes the signals at the north end of Kelly Siding as it heads south at Kelly, Ky on the Henderson Subdivision.
February 12, 2015 – CSX Q025 with engine 721 on point heads south past the old Louisville and Nashville Depot at Madisonville, Ky on the Henderson Subdivision. The building belongs to the city and many civic organizations, including the West Kentucky Chapter of the NRHS, meet there monthly.
February 7, 2015 – A CSX northbound empty coal train, with engine 5414 in the lead, heads into Pembroke, Ky on the Henderson Subdivision with four units trailing.
February 12, 2015 – CSX Q592 passes under the signals toward the north end of Casky as engine 4769 leads it’s train north at Hopkinsville, Ky on the Henderson Subdivision. The last engine is in the consist was OFOX 3084.
February 12, 2015 – CSX Q596 kicks up a powder of light snow as it rounds the curve headed to the south end of Nortonville siding as it makes it’s way north at Nortonville, Ky on the Henderson Subdivision with engine 487 on point.
February 12, 2015 – CSX engine 542 approaches the south end of of Kelly siding as it pulls a empty Ethanol train northbound at Kelly, Ky on the Henderson Subdivision.
February 12, 2015 – Empty coal train CSX T103-9 (Manitou, KY – Bostwick, FL) hits the first of many crossings in downtown Hopkinsville, Ky as it heads north on the Henderson Subdivision.
February 12, 2015 – CSX Q515-10 (Indianapolis, IN – Nashville, TN) passes the Holland Substation as it heads south at Hopkinsville, Ky on the Henderson Subdivision with HLCX engine 8137 in the lead.
February 12, 2015 – At the site of the new CSX Casky Inspection Yard, south of Hopkinsville, Ky CSX N056, a northbound empty coal train, meets southbound G154, a southbound loaded grain train. In the foreground you can see some of the fuel storage tanks going up in the south end of the new yard, just before John Rivers Road.

On February 7th, 2015 CSX Q514 stopped at the north end of Casky in Hopkinsville, Ky to pickup a load of auto frames from the Metalsa plant there with engines UP 4563, CSX 6521 and KCS 4029. Added bonus is CSX Q025 passing.
