May 10, 2018 – Day 192 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B&W Photo Challenge – First Dance – Since I covered my niece Stephanie and Justin’s wedding today as my wedding gift for them, I reserved my black and white iPhone photo to their First Dance!

May 9, 2018 – Day 191 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B&W Photo Challenge – Stephanie and Justin – My niece Stephanie and her soon to be husband Justin on the eve of their wedding day! Love them both!!!

May 7, 2018 – Day 189 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B&W Photo Challenge – Swinging – My nephew Jordan loves to swing! He’d let me push him all day long if I would! Today the sun was just right, and I had to grab this shot of him and his shadow on the surface of the playground! Keeping your pictures clean and easy to read can help make for a stronger picture!

May 6, 2018 – Day 188 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B&W Photo Challenge – Ready for Church – My niece Elaina is all kicked back in her seat waiting for us to head off to church this morning sporting her “Derby Hat” as she gets in a little time on her tablet. Our church encourages everyone to wear their favorite hat the Sunday after the running of the Kentucky Derby and of course it always makes for some great pictures!!

May 5, 2018 – Day 187 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B&W Photo Challenge – Truck – Another photograph for my machine series I’ve been working on for many years. A long term series of photographs can make for a wonderful personal project in your photography.

May 4, 2018 – Day 186 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B&W Photo Challenge – Shutterbug Elaina – Today after I picked my niece Elaina up from preschool we headed downtown to shoot pictures and this shot is from the old courthouse, one of the places she wanted to shoot. As much as possible when I’m out shooting with my “Shutterbug Kids” I let them pick the direction they want to wander and take photos. She is one of 5 of my great-great nieces and nephews between the ages of 4-7 years old where we go out on photo adventures together!

May 3, 2018 – Day 185 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B&W Photo Challenge – Blizzard Time – What’s better than a cool Oreo Blizzard at Dairy Queen, after a hot spring day playing at the park! For me, capturing a portrait of my handsome nephew Jayden using the portrait mode on my iPhone! He’s also a pretty good young photographer himself! Look him up on Facebook! His page (which I manage) is Shutterbug Jayden and you’ll see a photo he captured yesterday while we were there.

May 2, 2018 – Day 184 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B&W Photo Challenge – Ballerina Elaina – My niece Ashley shares a moment with her daughter Elaina before heading off for her ballet class. When photographing parents and kids together try to capture natural moments that occur between them.

May 1, 2018 – Day 183 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B&W Photo Challenge – Hugs and Kisses – Damion tries his best to get away from his little sister who wants to give him hugs and kisses after his participation in his kindergarten classes performance this evening at his school. He loves his sister to the moon and back, but hugs and kisses from his sister in public and at school, not happening if he can help it! Capture the moments between siblings, they make for great memories!

April 30, 2018 – Day 182 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B&W Photo Challenge – Getting beat – Damion jumps yet another of my checkers as we wait for his sister to get out of ballet class this afternoon.

April 29, 2018 – Day 181 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B&W Photo Challenge – Damion and Wolfie – All of us had a favorite toy growing up, even if we don’t remember today what it was. Damion is no exception! Hands down, his favorite is “Wolfie.”

April 28, 2018 – Day 180 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B&W Photo Challenge – Tanks – While out chasing trains with a fellow photographer Ryan Scott we came across several good black and white photos, but this one took the prize!! The light reflecting off the shinny tanks at the Mead-Johnson Plant at Evansville, Indiana and the repetition of the tanks make this shot!

April 27, 2018 – Day 179 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B&W Photo Challenge – Jump – Under the watchful eye of his instructor Damion and his fellow Little Warriors run through some jumping drills during Karate practice this afternoon. Another use of leading lines! They’re everywhere!!

April 25, 2018 – Day 177 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B&W Photo Challenge – UP – Looking up can always provide some interesting views! For today’s picture I stood inside a power transmission tower and pointed my iPhone to the sky! Look for different angles to shoot your photos as it can help add impact to your pictures! Of course it helps to have interesting shapes and angles as well!

April 24, 2018 – Day 176 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B&W Photo Challenge – Jordan – My nephew Jordan is always good for a great picture! He’s such a cut up and loves life!! Unless things aren’t going his way, as with most 3-year olds! LOL Photos of your young ones making faces and being kids are one of the treasures you’ll cherish in the years to come. Make sure you capture them!

April 23, 2018 – Day 175 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B&W Photo Challenge – Evening Light – I pass this scene pretty much every time I drive home or head to town from my home. Today the light was simply breathtaking, and I had to stop and capture it! I utilized the video mode to capture this photograph, so I could use the full capability of my iPhone 7 Plus sensor.

April 22, 2018 – Day 174 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B&W Photo Challenge – Buddy – Buddy spent the weekend at our house as his mom and dad were out of town. He gets along really well with all the kids in the family as they’ve all grown up with him as they visited their grandma and grandpa’s home. Photographing your little ones with family pets will always give you a good picture!

April 21, 2018 – Day 172 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B&W Photo Challenge – Meeting Abe – Today I took my nephew Shutterbug Jayden to his first Civil War Festival where he was so excited and recognized Abraham Lincoln and wanted his picture taken with him. He says it’s the first President he’s ever met! Always oblige the little ones in your life when they ask you to take their picture!

April 20, 2018 – Day 172 – iPhone 7 Plus Daily B&W Photo Challenge – Blue Belt – Echoing yesterday’s statement that there’s never a dull moment with the little ones in our family! Today’s photo is of Damion with Eric, his Sensei, after breaking two boards, at his Little Warriors Karate Blue Belt ceremony yesterday afternoon. I’m not totally sure which is the kid here! LOL
