A bald eagle rests among dead tree roots at Duncan Lake, in Land Between the Lakes, Kentucky on a beautiful fall evening on October 7, 2020. Duncan Lake is located off road 132 from the main road through the park and is open for access till November 1st of each year. It’s closed to access during mating season and opens back up on March 15th.

August 15, 2020 – While out learning to use my new Arsenal Device for my D800, one of the places we stopped was an eagles nest in Grand Rivers, Kentucky. I didn’t use the Arsenal for this shot of a bald eagle taking flight from a dead tree, but it’s a shot that I like and still wanted to share here for your viewing pleasure!
